I lived in the area nearly 25 yrs ago & was visiting friends. I didn't see much change in the area, though it wasn't as active as I remember it. Hotel was great. Amenities & rooms were clean & neat. What you would expect from a Hilton hotel.

The hotel was good. Except there was no hand soap in the bathroom. We had to use the body wash from the shower to wash our hands. Every time we tried calling the front desk, nobody answered. Also, we lost power in all the rooms that evening for several hours, so no electricity and no air conditioning, very hard with young kids in the summer trying to sleep all sweaty. Also, their indoor pool was freezing.

I would give this property 0 stars if I could. I drove from Cleveland to Columbus for the state fair and tried checking into my room fairly on the later side. By then, there were several other people trying to check into their rooms as well, and we were all told that they were no longer serving guests due to them having no cleaning staff. You could imagine our frustration as all of the hotels in the area were booked that weekend. Terrible, terrible business.

Took 10 minutes to check in. There your Front Desk agent gave another guest our room. They walked in on my 15 year old Granddaughter. This was ridiculous. Then when we returned after dinner. The room key would not work and I had to go back down and wait for the person at the desk figure how to check a group of people. I had to wait 20 minutes. I will not be staying there again!

So so experience.

When we showed up the comforters on the bed were different ..not a huge deal but odd. The shampoo, condition, lotion and body wash were all empty and for some reason the rack was missing in the fridge. The website for the lobby restaurant made it looks like Italian fine dining which is far from the case. As basic of a restaurant as I have ever been in.
