Classic Older Motel

It was okay for what we needed. Just a place to sleep when we spent two full days exploring Yellowstone Park. The motel has been around a few decades. Very close to the entrance and shops. Clean enough.

Crazy busy town

Bare bones hotel. Clean with a bed. That's it. No coffee, microwave, fridge, or ice. 25 plus hotels in town. All expensive.

Love this spot

Love this spot! Right by the woods, straight out of the park. Mountain Mama's is right there.

Easy access to Yellowstone and hotel is in downtown West Yellowstone so can walk to restaurants and stores. Room is small and carpet was nasty with a huge gross stain. But room was quiet and you park right outside the room so this is convenient. Price is outrageous for what you get but so is everything in West Yellowstone.

Should be called RUDE and roundup. There was no curtesy or pleasantries on arrival basically barked at room basic but clean.

No working ice machine and the cable went in and out. Not really worth the price.

Basic clean older motel in great location.

Needed a place while riding thru Yellowstone, and the Dude was the only "reasonable" rate available in West Yellowstone. Super basic older motel in average condition in great location. Bed was fine and the place served its purpose for a brief overnight. Next to nice tavern. Highlight was the great lady who checked me in and gave me a good room location to keep my bike nearby. Thx!

Older motel, but clean, quiet, comfortable. Just what we needed after a long day in Yellowstone. Walking distance to restaurants and stores.

the location was excellent however website said we would have a refrigerator and it didnt. when i asked for one the staff was rude

Within walking distance to restaurants. Easy to get to after a fun day in the park. Clean and quiet.

The room was advertised as a Deluxe. It was far from that. The images on the website appeared to be from the units across the street . The parking for our room was basically non existent. Had to parallel park on the sidewalk against the side of the building in an alley. The room was clean but very dated and small. It did serve its purpose but was not worth the price.

Being at Yellowstone park, sleeping was only need for the room. It was comfortable and quiet. Would stay again!

Great location by west entrance to yellow stone, clean. Only gave a 4 due to beds were not very comfortable. Woke up sore. Otherwise had a good stay, staff was friendly.

Stay away from this hotel!

Carpet is very old and has many stains. Floor is bathroom is held down with nails along bathtub. Mattress is old. No coffee maker in room. Outside is very run down and dirty. I booked it sight unseen on this website. Choice hotels needs to remove this hotel from their list.

Roller coaster of good and bad.

The room we got was not as pictured. It appears group tours get the better rooms at this hotel. T.V had very few channels. All news channels were all in small boxes on the screen. Strange. Having said that there rooms are less expensive than the rest. The room was clean, bed was clean and comfortable, A.C. worked well. It was quite as well.

Fine

It was clean and the beds were nice. For the price we should have had a refrigerator and coffee maker.
Sherry, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Super easy accessibility to west entrance. Quiet, clean motel style accommodation. Fair price for basic accommodation. Coffee in office. No frills.
Lisa, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good location right next to a pizzeria/bar. There is a supermarket at the end of the block and the motel is very close to the entrance to Yellowstone NP. I stayed 4 nights. My 2 issues were with the internet and hot water. The place fills up in the evening and it seems that everyone takes a shower and hits the internet. So, the internet gets shaky as the evening progresses. I had issues with the lack of hot water when the motel was pretty deserted. I asked the desk person and basically I don't think anything was done because I never got my hot water and I didn't get any feedback from the desk clerks as to its' status. This is at a place that was charging over $270 a night to stay. I probably won't stay here the next time.
Almon, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was quiet and clean. I did not like that there was no key for the deadbolt. It did not feel as safe, so we didn’t leave valuables in the room.

If you only want a bed

If you just want to sleep, it’s ok. No mini fridge, no microwave, no ice machine. The first room they assigned us was already occupied. After loading the car up again, going to the office, and driving to another building we were given an unoccupied room. The stairs to the second floor were damaged and concerning.
