The place was very clean and convenient. 7/11 on the 1st floor before you enter the hotel. Complimentary coffee and pastries in the lobby at 6:30am to 10:30am. They also have onsite laundry and dryers. But they are rather small if you are travel with more than 2.

This was by far the best choice of places to stay. Price was right. Place was extremely clean. Bathroom was fantastic and the shower was hot and great water pressure. So relaxing after walking 20,000 steps in Kyoto.

Great spot for exploring Kyoto. Short walk to the Gion District, plenty of trains and busses stopping outside so a perfect base. Free teas and coffees in the lobbies and small pastries at breakfast.
