Great location for downtown and river trail. Took awhile but finally discovered the Roku remote controlled the tv volume, not the tv remote that did everything else. Staff were friendly, breakfast was adequate. We requested a late check out, but our key cards didn’t work after 10:30 am. Good thing one of us was in the room to let the other back in.

The Canada Best Value Inn & Suites in Fernie isn’t fancy, but it had everything I needed. The rate was lower than most places in town and the location is great. I had one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a hotel, and having breakfast included was a nice touch. My room also had a kitchenette, which made my stay much easier. On the downside, the property is quite outdated and could have been cleaner. Overall, it’s not luxurious, but it offered good value and comfort for the price.

The woman who checked us in was quite brusque. The room was very worn, the bathroom especially around the tub was dirty. The walls are dirty. The hall outside the room was dirty - litter and stains. The bed was very good and the sheets and pillows were clean and free of odors.
