This is a cozy property right on the lake! They had a property-wide maintenance issue on our first night but the front desk employees were friendly and accommodating about it. The issue was resolved for the second night and we were compensated for our troubles. Our little one liked the balconies overlooking the courtyard. This hotel was in a great location and within a short walk to Big Bear Village. We'd recommend you stay at this hotel, especially for the price!

We were in BB for a family funeral. We enjoyed the view, the size of the room, and two queen beds. The staff was very attentive. Definitely would return. We also liked the small beach and pier where swallows nest.

Great location

Location is great walking distance to village right on the lake it’s budget friendly but outlets were loose we could barely keep our phones charged and had to try one outlet after another that wasn’t about to fall out of the wall the deadbolt wasn’t working the coffee machine did not work. The fireplaces were broken But it’s rustic and quiet the staff is friendly and helpful

This trip was spontaneous and we decided to get a cheaper room. The room itself wasnt bad but the firplace didnt work and the outlets on an entire wall didnt work, which meant the tv didnt work and also the fridge, which was kind of annoying since we had food that belonged in the fridge. I was told i would get a partial refund, so im hoping that they follow through. Besides that the hotel was in a good location, the staff was kind and the room was decent.

I was suppose to stay for 2 days ending up staying longer. Ladies in the office makes you feel at home and welcomed. They even offer free continental breakfast and coffee. If your looking for a private and quite place this is the place. Good for Artists and Writers, a quite place to concentrate.

OK, but with some effort could be excellent.

I rate the room OK. The essentials worked...bed was comfortable, hot water for shower. But there was only 1 chair in the room and none on the patio so we couldn't sit on the patio together, the handle on the microwave was half broken, no ice available anywhere, and the TV was small and about 13 or 14 feet from the bed so hard to view. Also no channels available, only via Internet connection so we watched Youtube videos.

“The property is a bit older, but its charm is undeniable—beautifully situated right off Big Bear Lake. The location is ideal, offering easy access to events and local attractions. The beds were soft and clean, and the room was comfortably furnished with a small dining table, cabinet, fireplace, and fridge. Although breakfast was included, we had early plans and didn’t get to try it; it appeared to be a simple offering of cereal and fruit. Overall, this spot would be a great fit for families, couples, or solo travelers alike.”

Hidden gem in Big Bear! The views of the lake are amazing and Mia at the front desk was awesome. You can walk to the village in less than 10 mins and you can visit the new bar and restaurant right by the resort called the Bear Trap, really fun place with amazing cocktails.
