We found couple of roaches crawling in the room, you could tell they don't keep rooms very clean, just a quick go over. The carpets smelled like humidity. Wouldn't bring my family here, again.

The room waa fine overall. Not too many major complaints. The sink for the bathroom was a little clogged, the hallway to get to the room had a funky smell the further you walked down. No remote to the TV. Thwre was only 1 coffee and 1 augar in the room. The room was pretty clean and everyrhing worked. It was fine for sleeping and storing our things. Bonus was the full fridge and stove top. The vest part was being so close to the beach and Carlsbad village.

In pictures it seems and ok place. Outside looks good. As soon as you walk in it’s dark and old and looks like the haunted hotel. Dirty carpets and just dirty. Rooms were ok but had a fly, mosquito and spiders. Couch was so nasty, ripped and plain dirty. Oh and to top it off a damn cockroach. Fml

The room was filthy, and there were literal roaches at night. The air conditioning also didn’t work so the room was a constant 75 and humid. No new towels or toiletries were provided and old towels from a previous stay were left in the room when we arrived. Overall the building was in a good location but was disgusting.

The first room we checked into had roaches in the refrigerator. The sheets had holes in them. The air conditioner did not work the second room They moved us to had a horrible urine smell. The AC did not work also roach infested and the third room they moved us to the toilet did not work. The furniture had cigarette holes in them and it was also roach infested.

When we got home, my husband found two more baby roaches in our cooler that we put our food into. It was late when I packed our cooler. Did not see any roaches.

Room was dirty the furniture was filthy and the room had roaches and mold. The kitchen floor was super slippery, I almost slipped. The tv was not working and the pool was out of service which they never informed this on the app.

The plumbing was awful toilet didn’t flush the waste or toilet paper down and the sink would not drain quickly so water built up. The tv didn’t have a remote. We tried several times to have employees to bring us a remote that worked with the tv but even the employee couldn’t get anything to work. We notified the employee about the plumbing he said he would tell management but no one ever came to fix it. Upon check out the lady said no one ever put that plumbing was an issue and to report to hotels.com so that they can give me a discount.

The room smelled like smoke, there was rust and mold in the shower, none of the lights worked other than the bathroom light. The sink clogged on the first use. The garbage disposal didnt work. The beds had no blankets. When asked for blankets, the attendant only offered more sheets. When we told him about all of these issues he offered a 10% discount. Such poor customer service.

It was a horrible experience staying in the place. They first offered me a room where the flush didn’t work. Then they put me in a room where there was no phone to call the front desk. The second room had carpet with pet hair all over, towels were dirty and used. The bed sheet was soiled. The coffee machine didn’t work. The floor was soiled and dirty. The kitchen utensils were dirty and used. I paid for the laundry facility but the washer wasn’t working. I have been in the states for decades, never had such a horrible experience in a place. I had severe allergic reaction because of the dust, pet hair and unhygienic conditions in the room.

It was not so good. On the day of my check in the front desk did not come out until a different couple appeared 5-7 minutes. I had been at the front desk and walking around the common area looking for assistance only finding housekeeping. The room needs updates, painted over damaged frames, window shades duct tapped, shear curtains ripped in places. Under the beds and behind the couches disgusting with trash and hair. And roaches so much so that I purchased raid.
