Excellent hotel given other options in Rome. Neighborhood is very safe, room quality is great, and the restaurant has good choices for breakfast & dinner. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It's a bit far from the main attractions, but you can easily take a taxi or public transport.

8/10 Very Good

The Hotel was very nice and clean. One of the staff was a little grumpy one day (I don't recall the name) but other staff members were very helpful. It has a Restaurant and the Lasagna was excellent. That was the only thing I ate for my stay. T problem with the Restaurant is you have to make a reservation to eat there and you have to make it early. My wife and I got back to the hotel at 7:45 pm and requested a reservation to eat. No, it is full said the staff member. There was a party or around 20 to 25 people (and it can seat over 50) There were only 2 of us and he would not let us in. That was disgusting and I let him know it. The hotel does offer a good breakfast and there is no charge. The only other problem is the location in proximity to The Vatican, or Coliseum for example. A taxi will cost between 10 and 19 euros depending on the time of the day. Count on 15 and up. The hotel also arranged transportation for us from the ship to the hotel for 154 euros. The driver was there on time and very courteous. The hotel can also arrange transportation to the airport.

Great hotel. Terrible restaurant. Bruchetta- on burnt wheat toast. Chicken Marcella no mushrooms , looked like it came from the microwave. When 2 tables were taken, they would not let us have dinner. Ordered pizza, decided we would eat in lobby. Got chased out- but no table or chairs in our room.

Location was not really walkable to the sights in Rome. Too far north, my fault not knowing the city. Food at the restaurant was just average. I believe pre-cooked and frozen. Definitely not recommended since there are so many options in Rome. Staff was not very available, always seemed to be hiding out in the side office. No presence at the front desk frequently.

4/10 Fair

We had a room where the toilet didn’t flush pretty much at all and the waste stayed in the bowl. We called to fix it and they plunged it, but then it would happen the next time we used it. When we requested to change rooms, privately, because we didn’t want to make a big deal of it in front of other guests at the front desk, a manager came up to our room to “inspect “ and told us it’s low water pressure, it’s no big deal. We had to tell him it was unsanitary. He said since you’re making such a scene, I’ll move you and give someone else the room. Very nasty. The pool was the size of a backyard pool and in 95 degree heat, too many guests trying to use it. We had paid for 3 nights and moved to another hotel after two!
