My companion hurt her leg on our motorcycle trip and we needed a place to stay last minute. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and even upgraded us to give us a room that was easier to get in and out of for her. Huge thanks for that. This hotel has clearly seen a lot of Junior hockey tournaments and pipeline workers come thru. It was a place to stay when we needed it, but the AC was loud and the room hadn't been updated since the 90s. The faucet in the tub only allowed the shower to work, the tile was cracked and everything was pretty worn.

The indoors of the property was clean (did not use the pool and such). Room was clean and comfortable. The rooms /bathroom could use a refresher for removing the wallpaper (it doesn't clean well), and the bathroom fixtures...tub was leaky, lots of sealant on sink. Undoubtedly room of stay was clean and nice but the common areas like lobby , lifts, carpets were really dirty, floors seems to be never been swept or moped in a while with a pile of plastic bags sitting in the lobby on the side. As per the brand Sandman we were really high on expectations.
