Comfortable not cosy.
An enormous hotel complex within a golf course, comfortable and clean, but a bit impersonal when empty on a cold February weekend. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had the shower in the bath. The spa was good at £20 for two hours especially as I had it to myself. We ate in the bar on Saturday night, which had several menu options, rather than the vast empty dining room. Nice views over the lakes and golf course but not somewhere to go walking. Not cosy but good value.

Fantastic room, food and facilities - thank you for a great stay (rare to have an extensive spa and bowling alley!). Pay for extra facilities; yet the room rate was relatively cheap. Staff were very nice in some areas but weren’t so friendly at reception when checking in sadly. All-in-all, a good visit!

We stayed here for the MotoGP at Silverstone, about a 30 minute drive away. All the hotel staff were very friendly and efficient and the hotel itself is a comfortable place. Reasonable price compared to what was on offer in Silverstone. Didn’t have dinner here so can’t comment, but we did have a good breakfast here each day. Would probably stay here again next year.

Comfortable but dated
Friendly and helpful staff. Good food at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately, though the room was confortable, it was dated and extremely hot with no effective ventilation. Disappointing also that the swimming was only accessible to adults (or children >16 year old) and at a fee of £20/person. This should be made clear at booking with regard to the Spa.

The golf course and the property are beautiful as well as the surrounding area. Take note that the rooms are not air-conditioned. They do provide you a fan if you can figure out how to make it work or you can open the window that has no screen on it. The workers were friendly however the price for food and drinks was on the high side, especially if you are converting from the Canadian dollar to the pound.

Enjoyed my stay. A little in the middle of no where. In a beautiful quiet setting nevertheless. Renovation works to the pool are on going so didn't get the chance to check it out. However, I did use the spa and had a pleasant massage.

Just stayed for one night on business. Needed an early breakfast and Gary the Chef pulled out all the stops to accommodate before the restaurant even opened, that was the best customer service I’ve ever experienced!!
