Property is decent..rooms are old and beds are kind of comfortable. The AC in our unit wasn't working but they offer to change rooms byt we have only one night left and with the window open felt ok. The hotel is in a great location. Central point for getting around Sarnia. Easy in and out. The staff was friendly and check-in/out was easy. Breakfast was decent. The hotel could use some TLC. Carpets in hallways looked dingy and dirty. The floor in our room was dirty... Not lying visible with the dark plank flooring but barefeet and socks collected all the dirt and dust. Either the room didn't have ac or it wasn't working. With some love, renovations, and new updates, this hotel could be excellent.

The property itself was convenient as far as location and places to go for meals. The breakfast included with the stay was quite good and no issues there. Unfortunately the restaurant on site is closed on the weekends so we had to go out to find other places to dine. My main issue was finding out the air conditioner didn't work. When we arrived and checked in, we turned it on and went out to tour around. When we came back it was then we found out the AC had not been working and the room was terribly warm. When I went down to the desk to let them know the lady basically told me there had been other complaints and she had been trying to get ahold of maintenance but had been unable too. Rather than suggesting a move to a different room she said I could complain to Expedia for a refund and we could go to another hotel... I don't think I am about to pack up at 8pm and try to find another hotel. Not sure I would go there again.
