The location of this hotel is EXACTLY why I will be booking again. Despite the condition of the building, it is literally in the center of the Tahoe City community. Across the street from Commons beach, dining and shops next door, and a 7 minute walk from the nearest grocery store! The location cannot be beat.

Best kept secret place to stay (hiding in plain view in the heart of Tahoe City). I will definitely stay here again. They could update the mattress in the room I was staying in because the edges of it were sinking in when I sat on it, but the sleeping part of the best was fine and I slept well.

The walkways and elevator was filthy and uninviting. It looks like nothing has been swept nor cleaned in the outdoor walkways and elevator for at least a year.
