The room was clean but very, very outdated. Definitely in need of renovation and new furniture. We had two double beds in the room and one was broken. It sank to the floor when you sat on it so we wouldn't dare sleep on it. I did tell the front desk staff and they made a note of it.

Don't overlook this hotel. The staff here makes this hotel special. They went above and beyond for us. Newfoundland hospitality is alive and well here. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well. A wonderful homecooked meal. The hotel is a little outdated but very clean and comfortable. I'd highly recommend if your in Gander for a quick visit.

Not accessible for wheelchairs

Your rooms that say are accessible are really not wheelchair accessible. The doors are too small and the bathroom is too small. You can not fit a wheelchair in the bathroom.
