Stayed in a villa with 5 people, very spacious and the kitchen was great. The living room has patio doors that back into the garden area with a patio table which was lovely. The beds were comfortable and rooms well sized! Staff was very attentive and helpful. Boardwalk was closed unfortunately but still able to use the lakeside seating at the Hotel Eldorado.

I really enjoyed the surroundings of the location — it’s beautiful and relaxing, which made our stay pleasant. However, the building itself feels old and could really use an upgrade. For the price point of around $500/night, I was expecting a more modern and refreshed room. The ordinary rooms especially don’t quite match the cost. Overall, great location but the accommodations need improvement to reflect the value of what guests are paying.

Beds and bathroom felt clean. I think our unit needs a new dishwasher. Very dirty down beside the washer/dryer. It could stand new carpet in the living room and definitely a paint job. I don't think anyone cleans the windows on the outside. It's just that when you pay that much money for a stay, you expect a bit more. The staff was great, so friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful. They were filming a movie when we were there so parts of the hotel and amenities were shut down at times. The crew of the movie were very nice and it was kind of cool watching them.

I got the lake view room with balcony, the view was amazing. I wake up every morning looking at the mountain and lake and the pier, so mesmerizing. The room was so big, it feels nice and spacious. The only thing I didn’t like about the room was the bathroom. It was very small and tight. The sink being out of the bathroom was good. It’s just me, I don’t like small bathroom. Other than that, everything was great!

The overall property is great. Rooms are good. The restaurant is excellent. We did not use the pool as it was very windy at the time. We were unable to use the room safe as it wouldn’t lock. I only told the staff upon check out. Also the blackout curtains in the bedroom were dirty on the backside. Housekeeping staff were quick to remedy.

The hotel and the amenities it provided was overall spectacular. Definitely gave you a vibe of staying at a resort. You have your own private beach, docks, walking paths, pools, restaurants, etc! The food was spectacular and the staff where amazing! Rated 3 stars because there was spider webs with 100's of spider eggs on top of the curtain rail in our room (gross), a weird smell coming from the drain hole of the bathtub one evening that smelt like sewage. We had to put a towel at the bottom of the door so the smell wouldn't carry into the room. It persisted to the following day as well. I also woke up 3-6 times at night as our room was facing the parking lot and you could hear the music they where playing downstairs by the main door. They kept the music playing 24 hours a day. Super unfortunate as we did enjoy staying here, but felt I had to be honest with my review.
