The views were great of the harbor. The rooms were nicely furnished and the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in all of my years traveling throughout the world. The staff were always helpful and attentive. The only drawback was our shower enclosure leaked when we took a shower running into the other area of the bathroom. The location is nice because you're able to walk downtown, but note its a steep hill up if you're not able to move around easily. Also the public bus is not too far away. So all in all it was a great place to stay.

Hotel Stay on Mykonos

Excellent hotel, close to Mykonos Town, great views out over the Med and nearby islands. The staff were really friendly and helpful, we got a briefing from Sakis about the town and recommendations for restaurants and where to get the best gyros. The breakfast menu was excellent with a great selection of hot and cold items (even baked beans)! Mykonos is a pricey place so though the room rate seemed high it was in keeping with typical prices for this island. Ask for one of the lower level rooms if you don’t want to climb a bunch of stairs to get to your room, although you will be rewarded with a great view if they do put you in one of the higher level rooms!

Hotel Madalena is conveniently located; just a short walk to the Old Harbor, the center of town, the tour boats to Delos and the bus station. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff is incredibly helpful. We loved our stay at Hotel Madalena, from the wonderful breakfast buffet every morning, included with our room, from the lovely views and location. It is a short walk from the old port and quieter for those who don’t want to be out into the late hours of the night. The concierge was very helpful, as was all of the staff. From the service to the cleanliness to the yummy breakfast and proximity to little Venice - everything was simply great. Even the car rental can happen from the hotel without going anywhere and the sunset view from terrace is also amazing. I would come again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was so helpful and very informative about the area. The view was beautiful! We were given a wonderful breakfast each morning with a wide variety of food. The village was a short 5-7 walk down a hill to all the shops, restaurants and sights. My only problem was it was difficult to get back up the hill with my bad knees. Other than that, we loved everything about it!

The Madalena Hotel was excellent in all regards. The room and bed were very comfortable. There’s s beautiful view of the bay and sunsets from the room’s patio. The breakfast was spectacular. The personnel were professional, helpful and friendly. The location is excellent, just a 15 minute walk to the heart of Mykonos town.
