First time on Guernsey, travelled with friends who lived there many years ago for the 80th Liberation Day celebrations. Our stay at the St Pierre Park was one of many highlights. The hotel building and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff are friendly, attentive without being overbearing, helpful and polite. We ate in the hotel restaurant on our first night having the 3 course a la carte menu, the food was fresh, full of flavour and presented beautifully. Breakfast offered a buffet of fresh fruit yogurt cereals and pastries and hot food with a seperate extensive menu from which I enjoyed Avacado and poached eggs on sourdough, smoked fish and cheese charcuterie and smoked salmon and poached eggs on toast. The best breakfast of any hotel I have stayed in.
The rooms were well appointed with balcony, excellent tea and coffee facilities, iron, ironing board, robes, fridge and safe.
Unfortunately we did not have time to sample the spa and gym services but will definitely find time for this on our next trip.
The staff made our stay extra special with everyone we met being friendly, helpful and efficient with attention to detail, remembering little things that made you feel special. All of the staff were amazing and I could not fault anyone however we were served mainly over our stay by Abdul and Patricia within the bar and restaurant who provided an excellent service and made our stay thst little bit more special.
