We love Emerald for our shorter family trips - you can't beat the location and convenience! The venue itself has not been upgraded in years, so wear and tear on the property is becoming noticeable but service is good, and it works well for those who want to use it as a home base.

Just overnight stay going to and leaving St.John VI. Hotel room very clean esp. the bathroom, nice large illuminated mirrors in bathroom. Nice balcony and almost right on the beach, beautiful. Lunch and dinner in Cafe at hotel and again at the beach and open air. Enjoyed my day there.

The location is great and all rooms face the beach with a large balcony. During our stay the power went out the morning we needed to check out. So we had no power or water to get ready to leave, they would not allow us to check out an hour late to give us time to use the toilet and shower. With no electricity the restaurant and coffee bar were also not open.

The property is in a great location close to the airport, but the airport noise was not a problem as I had feared. The beach is beautiful. The restaurant is apparently a separate entity from the hotel, but we enjoyed it very much as well. Beachfront seating was beautiful and the food was good. I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel and I would go back.
