Overall not a bad stay. The room was slightly dated and worn but not really an issue. Only problem was the mattress was extremely loud and springy. Other than that i would stay again.

All was fine unless you’re pathetic enough to complain about 1 cracked tile in a huge multi floor hotel for £49 per night. Most Britannia hotels are great but are allowed to get run down so it I what it is and the Grand was just fine. Drinks were surprisingly well priced. A short and coke was buy 1 get 1 free so 4 cost £12.50. Car parking was £7 per day. Gorgeous swimming pool and great sea views. Only complaint is it’s a bit out of the way but that’s by the by. Would highly recommend unless you’re royalty!

Nice hotel; has everything but it was hot and didn’t realise there were fans in cupboards when really got desperate. Mattress was worn on edges so had to put pillow under the mattress to prevent fall off in sleep. Nice pillows. Clean toilets. Had iron and hair dryer.

The food included wasn’t a great standard very basic and clearly pre cooked and thrown in oven. The service at reception was quite rude when asking about the children running around the halls at 11:30 at night. I would advice to check if any event are happening at the time of your stay unfortunately we booked during a sports weekend and lots 60+ of teenage footballers where at the property for the full weekend.

Very poor from start to finish. Arrival at the car park was met by multiple drunks and drug users. The lift is difficult to use and can be left waiting for 10 minutes at a time. The room was dusty and both bedside lamps didn’t work. The service was delayed as short on staff. Decided to leave a night early as a very poor experience. The pictures make the hotel look a lot better than it actually is.
