A Home Away From Home

COLORS is a bit of a home away from home, a lovely boutique hotel just outside the centre of Athens that takes good care of its guests. We came for our honeymoon and they were quick to offer a few little perks to make our stay more comfortable, and swapped rooms for us when we asked for a different set up.

Comfy Luxury

This is our third stay at Colors - you could say we're fans! We were offered an upgrade this time around and stayed in their new flats across the street from the main hotel. These are spacious with full kitchen amenities, a large, comfy sitting room and a well-appointed bathroom. There were two double bedrooms and a small play area for children. This was a very luxurious experience, albeit a different one from staying in the main hotel, where the trendy decor and vibe make it very clear you're on holiday, rather than at your home away from home.

The location of this boutique hotel is excellent for travelers who prefer to stay away from the hectic main streets or major tourist areas. I really enjoyed my stay at colors hotel. Whilst a little off the beaten track, it was only a 15 minute walk from the city centre and so very convenient for anyone that doesn’t mind a stroll to the centre. The hotel itself was very unique, such a great vibe in terms of the decoration. Very clean and the staff were so friendly, happy to chat every time we passed the reception area.
