I wouldn’t stay here again for the price we paid.
It was a pretty average stay. Our room was mostly clean, but had stuff on the carpet. I don’t want them thinking it was me that left melted chocolate (or something!) on the floor. That gave me anxiety the whole time. For $300 per night, I also shouldn’t have 6 weeks of dust on my mini-fridge and a broken USB port.
It’s near cool shops and restaurants (Japanese bbq!), and they have ice machines. The bed was incredibly comfy.
The neighborhood is LOUD during the day. Be aware this hotel does tour groups (a particularly rude one when we were there—different societal norms, I think). Breakfast was “meh” because the tour group wiped out all pastries, omelets, and OJ. Half the tour bus was in-line to make waffles, so that wasn’t an option either. I got to half a sausage link and a slice of toast. Better than nothing, but barely.
Overall, I don’t think it was worth $600 for 2 nights. I’d have been okay if it was $400, but $600 was too much for the experience we had.
You can’t use your own Roku. This is probably the biggest deal breaker for me. Even the Mandarin Oriental let us hookup our own device recently! I understand Hilton thinks what they offer built-in to the tv is good enough, but it’s not.
