Unique property, very quiet and away from town

Aside from the kitchen not being able to serve lunch or dinner, the breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff is wonderful and easy to communicate with as we speak English as our primary language. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Room was great and specious. Balcony was comfortable to watch the view. The only thing, during the day it’s quite warm in the room. Good and service is great too.

The place was really beautiful and quiet. The balcony was a plus as you could relax there. The staff were very attentive. Leonel was especially sweet and thoughtful when we requested to take our order from the bar to our room. He carried 2 trays of food to our room, even though room service wasn’t available.

Trevligt stĂ€lle me imponerande ytor. Rummen rymliga, vĂ€lstĂ€dade och bra iordningstĂ€llda. Frukosten var riktigt bra men nĂ€r det blev mycket folk pĂ„ helgen blev det lite kaotiskt med köer o mat som tog slut snabbare Ă€n pĂ„fyllningen. Vi Ă„t ocksĂ„ middag pĂ„ hotellet och det var bra men en vĂ€ldigt liten meny. Vi hade med oss en hund och den trivdes. NĂ€r vi bokade genom hotels.com stod det djurvĂ€nligt men ingenting om att det fanns en viktbegrĂ€nsning. Det fick jag se nĂ€r jag besökte hotellets hemsida och efter att ha pratat fram och tillbaka med hotellreceptionen sĂ„ tillfrĂ„gades hotellchefen som efter ett tag kom tillbaka med att det var ok att göra ett undantag för vĂ„r hund. 30€ per natt för hund Ă€r dyrt och Ă€r förmodligen prissatt för att hĂ„lla ner antalet besökande hundar. Omgivningen Ă€r fantastiskt vacker men promenadstrĂ„k Ă€r vĂ€ldigt begrĂ€nsade beroende pĂ„ stĂ€ngslade hagar och marker. Pool omrĂ„det var vĂ€ldigt fint och vĂ€lordnat och Ă€ven inomhuspoolen var trevlig och rimligt stor.

Very tired pousada. Needs a paint job and a good cleaning. The bed was very hard making it an uncomfortable sleep. The sheets were hard and scratchy. This hotel didn’t seem like the other paradors and pousadas that I’ve stayed in, in the past.

Bellissimo convento del ‘500 con annessa cappella con azulejos che da sola male il viaggio. Personale molto cordiale e ottima colazione. Camere ampie e comode e spazi enormi che includono piscine e un maneggio.
