No room available despite reservation
So when we arrived to the hotel at 10 pm after a long day of volleyball matches, they did not have a room for us despite the reservation. The front desk worker, KeAsia, did apologize but spent about 30 minutes on the phone with a supervisor. If this issue arises at a hotel, an upper level should be on site to help manage the situation. Five families needed rooms despite their reservations. She could not work the printer. She manually had to call around to find hotels with space. At no point did she update us with her plan until I probed her.
More training and customer service needed for this worker. In this day of technology how can a hotel overbook five rooms??
They did put us up at another hotel 15 minutes away.
Overall a bad experience though.
