The hotel was probably the highlight of our Stockholm trip. The lobby and the room were wonderfully furnished. The hotel staff was super friendly. And the breakfast was delicious. If you visit in summer, the rooms get quite hot (no AC)--you can get fan from the front deak if you ask though.

A friendly and characterful hotel, well located close to metro (2 min) and tram (5 min) stops. Comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast buffet. Our Oak room gave just enough spreading-out space to be comfortable for a 7-night stay. We’d have appreciated some drawers for small items, and we found the bathroom difficult to use. We’d have happily reused our towels but it was hard to keep them dry enough because water from the shower got everywhere.

Great hotel on a quiet street but walkable to everything. Close to public transport too. Included was a great breakfast, so many American and European breakfast options. Live music in the lobby and a great bar. Friendly staff. Only 1 issue - you had to unplug the bedside lamps to charge your phone at night as only 1 outlet next to the bed.

Well located 3 star hotel. Some part of the hotel is up to 4 star but not all. Good atmosphere and nice room if you have a balcony. Staff is there but not always service level in a 4 star hotel.

We paid for a Deluxe. Room and I must admit I was a tad disappointed, the photographer was clever with the angles. The balcony was disappointing. The hotel is looking a little tired and the bathroom we had is definitely due an upgrade, the shower was very underwhelming. In the restaurant area all the the lights needed dusting, I wrote Dusty on one of them, it needs a good clean. The plus side, the staff are great, from front of house to the restaurant and the chamber workers, very polite, professional and friendly. Great location.

The lounge

The lounge was much better some years ago with nicer furniture and flowers. Now it looks quit “warnout”! Likewise the rooms. We have booked this hotel many times just because of the nice lounge, but now it’s not nice anymore, unfortunately. The checkin is very bad situated.
