Would have been fine if the toilet had worked…. Someone came to fix and said we just needed to hold the handle dien and left…. It did not work… we tried getting them back but just got ready to leave… at check out I told the manager I was very unhappy about the toilet situation and he said sorry about that…Will there be any thing else?!?!!!

Not good for what you pay
The hotel was Ok. Not a good shower, my husband is tall, he couldn't take a good shower because the shower was small and didn't have enough water. The coffee maker was dirty, no water bottles in the room, so we couldn't make coffee. The breakfast wasn't good, the bread tasted expire and the scramble eggs were watery. I was a little bit disappointed, because I thought since it is the only actual big hotel in the area, should be better. Well, for one night it is fine, but for two I recommend look somewhere else.

Nice room jet tub needs repair
Room was nice it was very quiet however the jet tub made a lot of noise to the point where I couldn't even use it other than that I enjoyed my stay. I did specifically rent a room with that tub to use it FYI. Also the staff was very courteous and friendly and helpful made my check in fast and easy.

We LOVED it here - the front desk person was AMAZING - I can't recall her name, but she was as nice as they come - beautiful hotel, nice beds, and the Breakfast was AMAZING!!! Great place to stay and VERY close to the Sequoia National Park Entrance.

Close to the park and decent breakfast
Not many lodging options in the Sequoia area but this hotel was close to the park and close to restaurants. Room was definitely dated and had lots of patchwork in the bathroom. The mattress was not comfortable, the walls are thin, and if you get a first floor room you will hear the stomping above. My room had a king bed with a sofa bed which worked well for my family of 3. The property allows pets (I didn’t bring any) which is a benefit to travelers and my family said the breakfast was decent but you needed to get in the lobby early to avoid a crowd.

The hotel room was so unclean with hairs on the sheets and pillows so clean. We asked for another room but didnt get as it was fully booked they said ...The room was so noisy from people walking and also upstairs there was continous noise....Overal a bad experience. Very itchy beds and blankets....

One star for an experience that is horrible
One star for an experience I’ll never forget—mostly because I’m still itching from the dirty bed! The highlight? A toilet sh** stain that really sets the mood. Let’s talk about the “warm welcome”: nothing says hospitality quite like a toilet with a sh** stain! The bathroom had the fresh scent of bleach, while the room smelled like ancient dust, complete with a dirty carpet—definitely not what those deceiving pictures promised. Those pictures must have been taken during a different century! Who needs five-star luxury when you can have this unique blend of discomfort? Nothing says "holiday spirit" like spending Christmas in this charming establishment and getting a rash on my neck!

Friendly Staff, Dated Rooms, Bug Issue
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the kids enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet and hot tub. The bathroom showed a lot of wear, with the shower head pretty calcified. There was also a small cockroach in the bathroom in the middle of the night, which I assume crawled out of the drain. I let the front desk know, and the lack of reaction or concessions offered led me to believe this might be a regular occurrence.
