My only complaint
Room was great! However, it was so hot in the room, it was literally hard to breathe. I changed the thermostat to cooler but apparently it was controlled from the hotel. I was told by management they turned it down but I honestly didn’t feel any difference.

Could not control room temperature
Could not control the temperature in the room. It was very hot. Had to turn off the heat in our room and open the windows to get it to 74 degrees. Everything else was fine. Great location. Older property but clean and spacious room. Every couple that I talked to in the elevator said the same thing. The rooms were extremely HOT!

Basic, old and dated
When we arrived we were told we were being given a free “upgrade”. We were directed to the 51st floor. When we entered the room, there was a man sitting in it. He said he was there to fix the tv and it would take a few minutes. The furniture was old and falling apart. It was incredibly hot in the room, even in January with the windows open. When we called for assistance, we were told there was no way to make it cooler and someone would bring us a fan. The door was so leaky that there was a high pitched squeal all night from the hallway heat rushing past the door. Overall a very basic and disappointing stay. The staff was kind but seemed to know that the hotel wasn’t of good quality and had to apologize to guests constantly. We won’t be staying again.

Had a window stuck open on the 45th floor in 26 degree weather. Took a phone call and visit to the front desk and then another call when we returned from the theater before it was fixed. The gentleman who finally fixed it was wonderful and went out of his way to help. But it was 6 hours after notification Everything else was great!

It’s Times Square
Like all buildings in the area, it’s older. However, our room was clean and provided a comfortable, centrally located place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I do wish they would update their website to indicate they no longer have mini-fridges in the room. That’s something I always like to have to keep cool drinks on hand.

Lets clean it up!!!
This hotel needs a lot of updating. For the amount of money that you are charged they need to start putting money into the room. Location was great other than that. The carpet looks like it was installed in 1990. It just doesn’t seem like they put any money back into their hotel rooms . I know this is in the state of Illinois, but people should not be allowed to vape or smoke anywhere in the rooms because the hallway and our room smelled like marijuana.
