What a great hotel! Renovations to the lobby did not interfere with my weekend visit at all. Sal at the front desk was welcoming, helpful, and a complete professional. Miriam went the extra mile with delicious coffee and true hospitality. My room was comfortable, huge, and very clean. Best sleep I’ve had in a while, amazing views, what a gem.

Our room was fantastic, unfortunately Hotels.com did not mention that the Hotel is under renovation and all amenities were closed, Lobby, Restaurant and Bar were all closed. We had to walk twice as far to get to our room but our room was nice and we made the best of our stay.

I encountered some difficulty reaching the staff despite multiple attempts to call. Upon visiting the office in person, I found two staff members present, yet my calls went unanswered, which was quite frustrating. At that moment, their demeanor did not convey a welcoming atmosphere. Although the establishment possesses a vintage charm and I found the room to be quite comfortable, I will likely explore other options for my future stays.

Disappointing. Hotel was under “renovation” apparently so everything was shut down and like a ghost town. Was not informed prior to booking. Great hotel close to the beach
Our stay was wonderful. Here with my husband for the San Diego Rodeo. Check in was fast and easy. Our room was beautiful but we were left to some VERY loud kids. The kids were trying to look into our balcony. We called the front desk and they were so helpful and moved us and even threw in an upgrade. The second room was even better and super clean. The room views were all amazing. They did charge for parking separately which we were not aware of but it was $18 extra per night. The hotel is in a great area by the shelter island launch ramp/h&m landing which we love and the beach is literally across the street from the lobby of the hotel. Laundry and amenities and so many little coffee shops within walking distance. Easy to get to petco park and little Italy. Will definitely be back!
