The Shangri-La Sydney really lived up to its 5-star rating. Our room was very big and had everything, including a great view and window seats to enjoy it. The lounge on the 30th floor had food, beer, and wine available three times daily, included in the price of the room. The staff were really nice.

The Sydney Shangri la sets the bar for me,&friends

I don't enjoy the climb up the hill to the hotel at the end of everyday. But the rooms are unmatched in quality, bedding, mattresses etc. Reception staff can be a bit formal and process adherent. Other Shangri la locations are friendlier in my experience.

Fabulous property, spectacular views!

This property is nothing short of spectacular. We spent extra to stay in one of their Grand Premier rooms and it could not have been nicer. The room was spacious, super clean and in pristine condition. The view from the room was nothing short of amazing, certainly the best hotel room view in Sydney. The best thing about the property is the location. 5 minute walk to the light rail, 10 minutes walk to the harbor to access the ferries and the main cruise dock and 10 minute walk to the train station for an easy trip to the airport. The property is located at “The Rocks” which has many delightful restaurants and shops. This property excels is every way I can imagine.
