The staff doesn’t have a good customer service attitude. The rooms are dirty, the sheets look yellowish, poor quality on the pillows and more than anything the room and the restroom were dirty and the carpet was wet in the area near to the A/C. Another thing it doesn’t say online is the parking, is not included with you stay. A good thing is the price per night and the location.

The lobby staff was very nice however the hotel is terrible- it is old and run down. We were there for 4 days- The room was never serviced, we never got any new towels. There was one tiny bar of soap and the smallest shampoo I’ve ever seen. The shower was mediocre and barely hot. We had to empty our own trash cans. Half the time, the room keys didn’t work and we had to get new ones. I do not recommend this hotel.

Best value. Don’t expect 3 stars but it is cheap!

The water pressure wasn’t the best. Water temp was mediocre. The bathroom main light didn’t half the time. My TV didn’t work. It was the cheapest and most convenient room. I was the only to sleep and have parking without spending hundreds a night. The staff was really friendly and helpful with what they could do.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The place is quite worn down but conveniently located right next to the Capitol building, and within walking distance of downtown Austin and UT Austin. Works fine if you’re just looking for a place to sleep. The housekeeper in our corridor was not very friendly, but at least the one in the opposite corridor was, giving us a hello and a smile to start our day.

I didn’t like that I had to pay for parking. I didn’t like that it stunk in the room I was in. It is very close to the capital. I did like the location. The staff are friendly and helpful. The covers looked used. :/

You get what you pay for. The property looks terrible, very dirty. The room smelled bad, and the smell transferred to my belongings. It had the oldest and filthiest carpet I've seen in a hotel, and I've seen some. Huge dead bug in a pile of dust. I had to buy flip flops so my feet wouldn't touch the floor. On the up side, the bathroom was clean. The people at the front desk were professional and had decent vibes. The linens and mattress were good, though the pillows terrible, uncomfortable, stained and old. That's what you get at the cheapest place downtown. Parking is $36 and change per 24 hr period.

It was an OK stay. The service wasn’t exactly outstanding, but it wasn’t bad either. The hotel itself isn’t the best, but the room itself was quite clean and decent. It’s a 2, maybe 3 star at best hotel, so you get what you’d expect for what you pay. I will say, it is RIGHT next to the capitol, and 7 minutes away from the Moody Stadium, which is what my friend and I booked it for. It was extremely convenient for walking to things. For that reason I recommend it.
