Perfect base for exploring London

Next to Victoria Station, this is an excellent location for exploring London and surrounding areas. Although a historical building, comfort and modern abound throughout. Friendly and helpful staff, answering all questions and providing help when we discovered we'd left our plug adapters at our last stop. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent stay at the Clermont Hotel. Staff were wonderful and the room was spacious. The only issue was the bed, which I really struggled to sleep in for the entire stay. My girlfriend however found it to be plenty comfortable enough and had no issues sleeping.

Excellent hotel. For once, the online photos are not fooling you. Very clean, delicious breakfast, great location on top of Victoria St and next door to the Harry Potter-busses. Only drawback was the plastic sheets that the hotels seems to be very fond of - it’s just not so good for your sleep.

Fantastic hotel with a very friendly welcome! Extremely comfortable and spacious room with a great choice offered at buffet breakfast. Hotel is very well placed for immediate access to tube, rail, hop on buses and bus stations......all on the doorstep. We were so pleased with our choice. They even stored our luggage as we continued exploring London after checkout.

Very special hotel

We had two rooms next to each other, the entrance and welcome is 5 star and the overall feel of the place a location near Buckingham Palace makes this feel like a very special hotel. The restaurant gives guests a free token for a drink which is a nice touch and you can mix the bar and restaurant menu which really please my two teens and my mum in her 70s. Something for everyone. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. The room size was great. Large windows, high ceilings, modern bathroom. Breakfast was a little undercooked and choices were abundant but the same day after day. Great coffee. The hairdryer is a full throated unit that actually dries your hair. Great location.

Came to London on a whim for my son’s spring break from university. The Clermont Victoria was the perfect location. Walking distance to almost all the sights we wanted to see. The hotel was elegant, quiet, clean and the staff was fantastic, even giving us an early check in when we arrived.

Great staff but two problems

Staff excellent-friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet excellent-plenty of choices. However, two big problems: noise level in restaurant so high every day, we could not eat dinner in there-we had to go around the corner and buy sandwiches, and all of the doors slam-we had to listen to slamming doors from 3:00 pm until we went to sleep and again in the morning starting at 4 am - these 2 problems would prevent me from staying there again
