The pool and sauna were lovely however the Jacuzzi & steam were both out of action :-( Booked as in a squash Competition and good to go back to the hotel spa & recharge the body! We had a great stay. There were 3 adults sharing a room with king bed and double sofa bed and had plenty of room. There was also a fridge. The pool is great and includes pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna - there are lockers and towels provided. Staff were all lovely and friendly on reception, in the spa and in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. We came by train to Cheltenham Spa - do not get a taxi from outside the station as it costs twice as much as an uber. We had lunch one day in the bar which was really nice and bought food from Sainsbury’s which is a short walk away. The bar is a nice area to chill out in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Gloucester Holiday Inn. The staff at reception were extremely helpful in our first visit to Gloucester. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was very comprehensive and beautifully prepared, and the staff very helpful. Our stay was very good, and we fully appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we encountered!

We've stayed at this hotal a number of times and this was the best yet. The room had recently been refurbished and it was excellent. I only gave it 4 stars as the TV in the room didn't allow casting from my phone app when it advertised that it would. Apart from that very minor issue, it was a great stay and a good night's sleep.
