Sleep
I couldn’t sleep, I was on the 4th floor and there was a constant noise coming from the roof or ceiling. Maybe a ventilation system ?

Great location and clean
Old hotel in an old building .. everything is old including the room but is comfortable and clean .. and for downtown this hotel is pretty quiet.
The location is 5 stars and the price is great.
I would come stay again for sure but change to a different room if I can ( the one that facing to the street)

Location, location, location
I love the ambiance and location. It was a perfect spot to enjoy downtown Victoria. The room was small, the beds comfortable and it was clean but a bit dated. The bathroom shower faucet was difficult to work.

Booked 2 rooms for myself and close friends for 1 night in Oct. both rooms had bed bugs in them, they said they did an inspection and found nothing but we definitely have proof that there were bed bugs. Definitely don’t recommend staying at the Bedford hotel down town Victoria

The best part about this stay was the hotel location. It was right downtown near several restaurants and shopping, and walking distance to the waterfront. The interior was somewhat antique but appealing. The entry smells like a bar but that's because it's adjacent to one. The room was a bit cramped and shower area was unique. Service at the desk was very helpful. The only issue I had was the hotel room price changes that I was unaware of. When looking for hotels the amount per night seemed reasonable until we arrived and prepaid and the price seemed way higher than my estimates and that was due to rooms changing based on availability and season Which I wasn't aware was a thing, and it wasn't hotel specific so I won't judge based on that. Would recommend and will choose this hotel in future stays.

We was distracted by the noise on the nearby establishment, especially the yelling on the streets in the middle of the night.

Great location
Room had a lot of character. Pretty sure we booked a queen bed but we're given a double. Bed was not very comfortable, I was glad to get back to my own. Location was incredible.

Right in the centre of the action. No matter what way you go, there's food, shops, and amazing views! Loved my stay, and would book again!
