Not what I expect from a Radisson.

This Radisson Blu is in a more residential area with few restaurant choices near by. There is a trolly stop and bus stop very near, which is nice and maybe the only really positive thing I can say about the Radisson Blu. The lobby bar, when it was open, was very slow. The hotel rooms did not have any drawers and there were always plates and glasses in the hallway, some times for more than a day.

Okay place. Good value for money.

Overall good stay. Good value for money. Just a few "strange" things around the food & beverage mostly. The breakfast restaurant was good. Efficient, good choices, good service. Strange that there's no daily restaurant open for a hotel of this size. The lounge seemed to be "stocked", but no one ever there serving people... at least not while I stopped by in the late afternoon and evening... kind of the key times for most hotel lounges. The top floor bar and restaurant are great, but the bar staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing. Nice, great view, great locaion, but just a little off. Parking was "interesting". It says there's public parking, but apparently can only be accessed after checking in at the hotel. And access was random. Between delivery trucks in the way and repairs to the main entrance, it was a little chaotic. So, like I said, generally good stay with a vew inconsistencies.

The hotel is well kept, clean and up-to-date, exceeding our expectations. The 4 star is due to the fact that it was quite a bit Nkosi's than we expected at night with the cars on the main roadway below, nothing the hotel can really control. All else was great!!

The hotel is obviously understaffed 5 check in desks and only 1 agent most of the time. Lady at the front desk named Liz was rude and not helpful. Found hair in the bathroom floor under the sink. We used to stay here every year and can see how the quality has come down. Otherwise excellent location and view.
