We booked though expedia(hotels.com), but paid at the hotel at arrival. We did NOT get the room we paid for, because they were over booked and were not told about it and noticed the following day. Unfortunately we were placed into a room that was less expensive than the one we paid for, but were stuck paying for the more expensive room. When brought to management, they said there was nothing they could do and to call expedia. We did, and expedia said that because we paid at the hotel, they (the hotel) would need to refund us, and expedia reached out to the hotel. The hotel manager told him (expedia employee) we were in a more expensive room and it was an upgrade. Well, that's a lie according to the website if you go to book a room. We are not happy since it was not cheap. But the hotel, room and amenities are nice, clean, and the breakfast is delicious.
