Hotel staff are exceptional, especially the young gentleman on the hotels reception. Big clean hotel with decent facilities and a nice clean smelling and friendly vibe to it. As daft as it sounds you feel safe in the hotel. The entrance of the hotel looks directly onto Magdeburg translation which is perfect for commuting to airports and major cities.

Our room was dated and could use some renovations. The room doesn’t have self control heater/ac. A couple staffs didn’t really speak English nor being helpful when needed nor friendly to foreigners unless you speak German.

The Maritim Hotel in Magdeburg is in every way a magnificent hotel. The staff were second to none in their efforts to make their guests feel at home. For example, I had a small technical problem with the TV. A quick explanation from reception and it was fine. They followed up with me shortly after, not by phone to the room. They personally came to my room on the sixth floor. A truely brilliant hotel

Altes Hotel

Unfreundliches und überfordertes Personal in einem Hotel das dringend renoviert werden muss. Man hat trotz geschlossenem Fenster alles von draußen gehört. Nach einer Beschwerde an der Rezeption sagte man mir dass das Hotel ausgebucht ist und man nichts machen könnte.
