The Chaminade Spa has 11 treatment rooms including rooms for couples. Services include deep-tissue massages, Swedish massages, facials, and body wraps. A variety of treatment therapies are provided, including aromatherapy, Ayurvedic, and reflexology. The spa is equipped with a sauna, a spa tub, and a steam room.

Loved the hotel facilities, views, restaurant and room size. Requested shower chair and microwave were in the room before we checked in:-) We were also greeted with a bottle of wine and discount voucher for restaurant. Girlfriend's birthday felt acknowledged and special. The whole experience felt like a treat. Despite cold weather, the pools, hot tubs, and restaurant outdoor seating were all warmed nicely. Easy drive to all of Santa Cruz and Capitola beaches. Will be 1st choice for future Santa Cruz stays. Thanks to all the wonderful staff we met and behind the scenes- Cheers, Matthew

Kind of a bummer.
I was really excited about coming to the Chaminade. I got here a little bit later in the night and there was absolutely no parking close to my room and had to walk quite a long way. Also, the bed was so extremely uncomfortable. I found it very hard to sleep and tried to put extra blankets on top of it. I was told that it could be a microwave put in my room, but when I called, they were out of microwaves. I had heard about staying at the Chaminade all my life since I am a born and bred Santa Cruz native and was kind of disappointed, unfortunately. I came to stay at Christmas by myself with my puppy to rest and relax. The buffet was good but once again the bed was super uncomfortable and I had to call maintenance a couple times and couldn’t be helped.

We went for Thanksgiving and the parking was horrible. We weren't able to park anywhere near our room and had to haul all our luggage. We ate at their buffet dinner and it was HORRIBLE...for people our bill was over $300. We will never stay here again.

It was not my favorite
The hotel was in a beautiful location but there were some small problems. We stayed in a room not in the main building and our TV was lagging all the time. The room was clean but a little outdated. We thought we were getting a garden view balcony but ended up with the patio facing the parking lot. You could also hear everything with your neighbors! Everything was also super overpriced. We inquired about their s’mores and fire pit they offer and it was 100 dollars! I would say it’s a nice hotel location but be ready to spend some money and be let down by the rooms.
