Better than the US Congress
A very cool vintage hotel in a prime location in Chicago. Rooms were just the right size for the 3 of us and it was a great rate at the time.

Our stay at the Congress Hotel was very nice. We stayed on the third floor and our room overlooked Grants Park; my only critique is that the road noise was a bit much late at night.

Location is great, but the hotel is pretty basic. I'm sure it was very nice in its prime, but that time is long passed.

Old school Congress Hotel
Enjoyed our stay, the hotel is older but room we had was large and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful and having the late night bar was nice to stop for a drink or two before heading up to bed. Check in was seamless and just liked the feel of the place. We were there 20+ years ago and we would book again. Great location.

Can’t beat the price! wonderful hotel!
Always like staying here. Beautiful older hotel. It’s a little more basic than a lot of them downtown but it’s still a great hotel and usually at a decent price. We stay here a lot. It’s a great place always clean always quiet big fan of it.

Hotel is in a great location to access downtown Chicago, staff is super nice. It was a hot weekend and the AC had some trouble keeping the room cool and not humid.

Check in was great. Able to store luggage before check in. Great location. Downside was the warmth of the room and basically not having working AC during extreme heat wave this week.
