Our stay at Fischer will make staying at other hotels difficult since they have set a high bar of quality and perfection. Neil, Michael, Otto and John are absolutely amazing. The best stay I’ve ever had anywhere else in the world.

This was our first visit to Fischer's Baslow Hall and we are already planning a return visit in 2025. We experienced warm, friendly and efficient service from the moment of our arrival and throughout our stay. The attention to detail was impressive. The superb 6 course gourmet dinner accompanied by excellent wines was an amazing highlight of our stay. We were very comfortably accommodated in a Garden Room. Loved the superking-size bed.

Peaceful place to stay
Fischers Baslow Hall is a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. The staff are excellent, helpful and incredibly professional. I would highly recommend staying here. The restaurant is not open on Monday and Tuesday. However, there are plenty of places to eat in Baslow, which is about a twenty-minute walk.

My daughter and I had a hugely enjoyable stay at Fischer's. We had a beautiful room with our own little lounge, and lovely views from the mullioned windows over the amazing vegetable gardens! We stayed in the Longshaw Room. Beautifully decorated and bed was really comfortable. Bath products a delight too. The fine dining was delicious tho it was repeated for the 2 nights we were there. Would have liked a different menu to try. Staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough. Thoroughly recommend.

Pretentious but doesn't need to be.
The stay was ok, however I had booked a room with a bath tub. The room we were given was extremely small with no bath tub, when you have been out walking all day you need a good soak. So yes nice hotel but needs a bit of work on communicating the expectations for the money paid. The same was the case with the menus, little detail but this was explained in detail by a waiter once the plate was put in front of you at the table. Most hotels give their customers a little more credit. I know the hotel is well known for it's food, but the customer shoud not be made to feel like they can not read and need it all explained. Just my opinion.
