Radisson should be embarrassed to put their name on this hotel. Peeling paint, torn window blinds, black material floating in water from the tap. No food, no bar. Stay somewhere else.

Nice and friendly staff. But, we had an issue with toilet and report it to help desk. He sent someone to take care of the issue. It was eventually solved. Not very comfortable room.

Gross- do not stay
Do not stay here, so gross. When we walked in the room there was something smudged on the way to the left. There was mirror to the right that had smudgy finger prints and lip, kiss marks all over it. The bathroom had plumbing issues- the shower and sink drained very slowly. The toilet would sort of flush but only the water would go down. There was hair behind the bathroom door. Also the kitchen was closed for renovations, not that I would eat there any way.

Basic hotel
This was an ok stay. There is literally no parking if you are driving yourself and staying for a night as their parking lot is a paid long-term parking lot that is separate from the hotel. We weren't made aware of this, and we thought we could reserve it on-site. when we checked in, the front desk person acted like we were dumb for not knowing lol. Just a weird interaction overall. Otherwise, the rooms are basic, nothing fancy, and no major cleanliness issues. If you're staying for a night, it would work just fine.

On-time check-in?
We arrived at 9 PM and the room was not ready because it was being cleaned by housekeeping. That was frustrating, since the check in time was 3 PM. We stood in the lobby 45 minutes waiting. Another group was told it would be hours, so they just went to the airport to sleep at the gate. I hope this wasn’t a regular thing.

Weekend stay
I stayedbin 628. The refrigerator wasnt working and it made $60.00 worth of food go bad. The switched my room but offered no compensation for the loss of my food. They offered snacks for free however i dont eat junk food. Also the tub on the rooms drained slowly. It was clean in the room. Nothing fancy just bare minimum for comfort. Make sure you bring food because most places near by close early. The staff did their best however i am kinda upset they did reimburse me for my food.

Picture this - we (my daughter, wife and I) land at Detroit at midnight on Feb 15 on the eve of a polar vortex induced snowstorm. I have a confirmed reservation at this blessed hotel. We show up at the hotel around 1am and the most appalling experience unfolded. The guy at the reception greets us and in the most nonchalant manner states "Sorry we are sold out". But, we have a confirmed reservation - sure, this dude doesn't budge, "Sold out Sir" It was unbelievable to the point of being funny! Apparently they had given our room away but there was absolutely no sense of regret or remorse from this dude....he was completely indifferent and even mildly gleeful to see our plight... We finally found a Comfort Inn and paid 1.5X the amount but we're glad we found a place to safely spend the night as the winds picked up and the temperatures plummeted as the night progressed. I would never ever trust this hotel .. would you?
