My wife and I were delayed by a 2.5 hour delay on our flight from Genoa to Madrid and missed our scheduled return flight to the US. We had to spend 36 hours for our new flight home so we booked a night at a nearby “airport hotel.” Hotel Alameda was a very pleasant and welcome surprise. We were able get early check in, the room was excellent, the optional and affordable breakfast was the best we had on our trip. Free shuttle from the airport makes this hotel a perfect choice.
