Corporate greed at its finest

We got a call about 3 hours before we were set to check in about a family member in an accident and clinging to life. We immediately got in the car to make the 6 hour drive. Shortly after, received a call they were gone. In the midst of our shock and grief, it completely left my mind to call the hotel. I take total responsibility for that. What I didn’t expect to receive was a charge on my card for nearly DOUBLE what the nightly room rate was. I absolutely expected to be charged for our one night stay, but the extra charge is nothing but pure greed. Left a message for a manager and no response. Will certainly make me not stay in a Hampton Inn again.

No TV. Called front desk was told they would look into it. Did not call us to follow up or state they were working on problem. End of night and in morning STILL NO TV. Went to breakfast and it was about half stocked. Out of omelettes, potatoes, milk, creamer, muffins, and some utensils. Premium room rates with poor service and amenities. Will not stay again. Could have stayed 2 blocks away for half the cost. Overall rating 2 of 5 and that’s being generous!

The stay was ok, we picked it for the reviews but were a bit disappointed. The area was ok, parking lot didn't feel as safe as others (lighting not great in all areas and it's easy for non-guests to access). Staff was fantastic, breakfast met expectations, but it was disappointing to find out we had to pay for parking and the WiFi wasn't included without signing up for a rewards program. We needed the WiFi to play my sleep sounds app to drown out the noise of other guests and the street noise. Unfortunately we won't choose this stay again due to the added costs of things that are included elsewhere.

DGreat hotel but don't count on the breakfast.

The hotel was very nice. Check in & out was quick and easy. Location is excellent. My only complaint was with the "free" breakfast. The hot stuff wasn't very hot and wasn't very good. I chose the hotel because of the indoor pool. The water and room were to cold to use. Everything was clean and new.
