A very pleasant surprise
The hotel was really excellent! I expected a decent hotel with a great location, but was happily surprised. The bed was very comfortable, the staff friendly, but the excellent breakfast really took me by surprise. The only negative thing was the slanted roof in the room that basically made the separate area for desk and chairs virtually unusable.

This hotel is a real keeper for any traveler coming to Oslo! Guest room was well appointed, the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, with items for everyone. Location is practical, being near the Central Train Station, and also near enough to tourist venues for walking. Overall, this hotel is a great choice!

This is a very cute hotel and we had several nice stays within the Thon chain. Clean, friendly staff, and a wonderful breakfast! However, this particular hotel is directly adjacent to a heavy metal bar, and the music runs late into the evening. If you like to party or enjoy metal coming into your open windows, this is the place for you!!

central location, 5 mnt walk to train station so easy to go from and to airport, close to a lot of bar and resto staff is very friendly and helpful (Suzij) the only downside from this hotel is the bed, They only use (at least in my room at that time) base, no mattress, then covered with topper make it so uncomfortable to sleep on and give low back pain the next morning.

Amazing
The hotel staff were very friendly! My sister and I came much earlier to the hotel and we were able to check in sooner wich we were very grateful for. The room was perfect for two people. On saturday night the club downstairs had loud music until 03 but it is easy to ignore it. The room was a bit cold but we got two extra blankets wich made everything so much better. I don’t think i’ve ever gotten such a nice service ever at a hotel. By the way, the breakfeast is a must!! So much to choose ! Would definitely visit thon spectrum again!

Ordered breakfast to go for the next day as we had an early flight. But when we went to check out, the attendant would not give us the ones they had prepared as he said they were for someone else. The staff were very nice and helpful! Breakfast was amazing - so many incredible options! The bed was awful! They said it was a queen but it seemed like a full size (which might just be a cultural difference). Since we were already on a top floor with a sloped ceiling, the small bed and very warm room, made us quite claustrophobic. I barely slept all night! I called the front desk in the morning to see if we could upgrade for a larger room/bed but they were fully booked. Because we were so tired and frustrated, we ended up switching hotels and got a great place with a king size bed (and had a wonderful nights sleep! Although we lost our room payment AND prepaid breakfast!) The area around this hotel is also a bit sketchy - although the location is convenient to Central Station. If I could get another room with a different bed or layout, I would consider staying again just because the staff and breakfast was worthwhile. But, sleep is pretty important when you want to enjoy vacation!

Gem of a hotel near Spektrum and Folksteateret
A really comfy hotel - nice cosy rooms, lovely soft bed (slept really well) and amazingly friendly staff (great level of customer service). The highlight was the included breakfast - breakfast included as standard in my experience has been quite basic, but here the breakfast spread is amazing, and certainly not budget-level. A real treat. I’d go back here in a heartbeat. Fantastic location for events at the Spektrum or Folketeateret.
