The hotel was just OK, not great for the price. I understand San Jose is expensive. But the entrance is odd and the hotel needs some updating. The breakfast was good. But the bar and restaurant in the evening is sorely lacking. It was very bright and uninviting and just seemed like a spot where employees hung out. One person was eating a delivery pizza at the bar. When i saw the menu, i wish i had ordered one too. The Placery menu was small and unappealing. The drinks were expensive and not great. Luckily, there are some other restaurants within walking distance.

3-night trip
