Beautiful hotel in general, and the rooms felt very luxurious and had a lot of character. Lots of counter space in the bathroom with large well-lit mirrors, very comfortable bedding with down duvets/ pillows, and a lot of natural light (plus a great view). Staff was incredibly nice, and the breakfast was divine - from the presentation of the food to the quality of the food. Certainly the best croissants I have tasted. Location is prime, and a very busy but picturesque part of town.

Amazing location, great and caring staff, very good morning breakfast, spacious room, very comfortable bed. The hotel decorated and designed veryinteresting, it has it own character. There is absolutely nothing not to like about the place , if visiting Stockholm again, definitely will stay in this hotel. The only draw back (and for whatever reasons nobody mentioned this) there is almost no closets or shelves so we kept al our clothes inside the suitcases and took what we needed, which were somewhat inconvenient.

The Sparrow is a small boutique hotel located in a great part of central Stockholm. A converted office/apartment building it features a vintage elevator and lots if period features. Comfortable rooms. Good food. Great service.

We really enjoyed staying at this quirky hotel with friendly efficient staff and charming touches throughout. The rooms were beautifully light and each room is decorated in a slightly different way. Breakfast buffet is abundant, with something for everyone. Dinner was delicious - compliments to the chef! The only small issue is that the bedroom air conditioning is a little dated, so not as efficient or quiet as it could have been - I am sure this is something the hotel will be working on.

We were looking for a cheaper alternative to The Rival, which we really enjoyed six years ago. The Sparrow looked nice - we thought it was worth a visit. Rooms are cute, but a little small (Classique), but good maid service. Breakfast was a delight - boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, pork, cold meats and cheeses, fruits, croissants or rye bread, macroons, yogurts, coffee, tea and orange juice. Lovely ambience with old-fashioned lifts and French music playing in the background. Quiet at the back (courtyard), away from street noise. Excellent front desk. Great area for shopping and close to the harbour and museums. We'll be coming back!

People make the difference! Our visit had some unexpected and major complications and Astrid and Sigrid made all the difference in the quality of our visit. Breakfast buffet is more than expected with a range that is appropriate for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Our room was large and well-designed. If you stay on a Fri or Sat night, do know that there is an active night life scene on this street.

The room was a good size as was the bathroom with a walk-in shower and L'Occitane toiletries. Nice to have a safe, fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. Unfortunately the window couldn't be opened and it was filthy. I'm not sure there really was air conditioning as we could not get the temperature down to a comfortable level.The breakfast was a disappointment; the selection of bread,fruit and yogurt was poor. There was no toaster. There seemed to be no provision for diabetics. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful and a credit to the hotel.
