Highly recommend! Very comfortable

We stayed here before our cruise and were so happy with our stay that we stayed here again after the cruise returned. The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast was great. Highly reccomend this hotel! And it was great for walking to local attractions.

A really well situated hotel, just on the edge of fisherman's wharf. Sean, who checked us in, was amazing and kindly gave us a complimentary upgrade to the best room we have ever stayed in - a huge suite with a spa bath! The breakfast was really lovely and should we ever be back in SF, we will DEFINITELY be back to Rui Plaza!

Everything good!! Amazing location, garage parking very affordable. Easy walk to Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Warf. Wonderful outside spaces to lounge by the fire pits. The breakfast is fresh, and the choices were mind blowing! Smoked salmon, normal breakfast fare and brunch/sandwich options in a lovely dining area. A nice bar area and a grab and go with great hours and prices on such a great variety of foods and drinks. Our room was quiet and comfy. Will be our go to spot from now on.

Great location but noisy and needing updating

Great location and close to many key attractions like Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39 and Alcatraz. Hotel is looking a little bit dated now and the room we were in (4601) was incredibly noisy, given poor sound proofing and being adjacent to a crossroads, tram line and bus station. Ear plugs were essential for half decent nights sleep.

Overall great! The only slightly challenging elements were the lack of a fan to run low all night, along with the loud a/c unit, and the staff not knowing about where to access ev charge stations. The Bellman did know of a station that worked out. Otherwise, well-done! Excellent Breakfast Buffet!

I enjoyed my stay at. The riu plaza the bed was very comfortable and the floor was very quiet the breakfast was very good with a variety of stuff to eat the only thing they didn't have was any turkey bacon or turkey sausage I brought my own with me and the staff was very nice to warm it up I would stay at the riu when I come again the staff was very pleasant and friendly I asked about the microwave and was told why there is no microwave in the room I feel it should be put back into certain rooms if not all this is just my opinion if you are a member of the riu plaza the discount that you get for being a member should also be applied to the microwave once again just my opinion thank you naomi

Breakfast ok Bar staff rude I paid cash and got given change left at bar got told don’t want that I had just arrived from uk so I changed a note and went back and gave her a tip 24 dollars plus 3 for a beer and glass of wine Room felt bear bed was comfortable
