"Our stay was amazing. The staff were exceptional, very attentive and so friendly.
We enjoyed several meals at the hotel as well as a local wine tasting. When we travelled into Ragusa for dinner they arranged a taxi for us.
Special details; lovely welcome drinks, adorable animals (the owners dog Max was a delightful surprise) and the staff were extremely patient with me practising my Italian.
Could not recommend more - the incredible value was a delightful perk but frankly we would have...

"Really nice family run business. Was very happy with our stay. Not too busy, pool area is very nice. Bedroom was very nice, if we stayed longer I think we would look to upgrade to a larger room. Breakfast was great. Good location to visit the local areas of interest. Would stay again."

"Nice base to explore Donnafugata, local beaches and southern Sicily more generally. Be aware that you may need to use local restaurants in the evening (five minute drive). Went here on honeymoon and would happily return."

"What a lovely stay on the hillside of this Mediterranean Island. Lovely staff: receptionists, housekeepers, breakfast crew, you name it. Spotless clean, easy parking, and right in the middle of everything."

Ragusa was my favorite town among the many we stayed in all over Sicily. Beautiful architecture, and not as clogged with tourists as most places. Highly recommend a visit.

My favorite of the baroque hill towns by far. Less crowded than Noto and Modica and more quaint and cleaner!

The people in the town were extremely polite and easy to speak with. Our favorite meal was at Camuri which was somewhat near the Duomo. Our meal was the best we've had in Sicily. The Trennino was a cute little tourist ride for 5 euros each.

A very quaint, sleepy town. Not close to any grocery stores and very hilly.

"The property is in an excellent location, minutes walk to the duomo piazza yet tucked away on a quiet street. You can park in front to unload your luggage and then the host will direct you to free parking that is close by.
The garden and pool are spectacular as they overlook the valley. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable.
The delicious breakfast was served in the garden with amazing views by an incredibly attentive host and staff.
If we get back to Ragusa Ibla, would absolutely stay here again.

"This hotel is unique. It has so many old and antique rooms for guests to chill. There is free cigars that you can take to your room patio or the rooftop to smoke. The red room is stunning, it is where the breakfast is offered. Our room has very high ceiling and is spacious. "
"We had the best stay at this B&B.
The staff was amazing, providing us with an amazing service and answering all of our questions to make sure we have the best experiences.
He recommended us great restaurants in Ragusa and even in other cities close by.
The best part about this place though is the view!!
We highly recommend! "
"Beautiful traditional Italian hotel. GREAT breakfast. Stairs only so be prepared or to elsewhere. Fabulous host too - natural warmth and friendliness."

"Giovanni, Francesca and her parents made us all feel at home. As if we were visiting old friends. Their palazzo offers the discerning traveler a most elegant sejour. Highly recommended. "
"This hotel has spacious rooms in good condition. It is situated 12 mins walk from the railway station towards the cathedral and is well situated for the Ragusa side of town. "
"We had a lovely stay at Intervallo Boutique Hotel! The staff was friendly and the breakfast with local food was excellent. The rooms are small, but enough to open a suitcase, and the hotel had great common areas. Parking options are within easy walking distance, and you’re basically already in the historical centre. The highlight is the location and the fantastic roof terrace with a great view of Ragusa Ibla. "
"Absolutely beautiful hotel with beautiful decour. Gorgeous grounds & 2 pools. Very good breakfast. Excellent location.
What bothered my husband & me was the hotel wanted to charge for everything. We were charged extra to use the safe in the room! They wanted to charge us to get a new pool towel each day! They expect you to use the same wet, sweaty towel the next day or get charged for a new one. They charge you 20 euro to get 2 chairs & an umbrella on the beach! I could go on & on.
I loved the hotel & the staff was helpful & nice. All in all, we enjoyed our stay."
"Beautiful property a short drive from the old town of beautiful Ragusa. The rooms are beautifully styled and comfortable. The staff are super friendly and helpful. And a great choice at breakfast. I would definitely stay here again! "
"Beautiful hotel, clean with amazing views of the country side and nice poolside. Highly recommend adding on breakfast - high quality buffet with countless choices and barista making coffee drink of your choice. Note that the pool is not heated therefore could not swim beginning of June. Gym is scarcely equipped, would not count on using it. Excellent location to visit Noto valley if you have a car, however everything is 15-20mins away and no places to take a walk without driving. Staff very friendly. Overall highly recommend if above fits your needs. "
"In our humble opinion, you can’t find a better host in RAGUSA than the owners of Il DUOMO de RELAIS!
My wife and I have different priorities when it comes to hotels and it’s frustrating when disagreements turn into arguments.
We try to compromise and alternate who picks the hotel in the next town as we drive around the island of Sicily.
In Ragusa, a UNESCO world heritage site, she chose Duomo Relais because of the balcony behind the Cathedral Dome and the unexpected happened. God orchestrated it to heal me (Romans 8:38).
In my personal relationship with my Heavenly Father I struggled to accept His loving grace because I’m not the “model” husband or father and I felt unworthy.
But when I woke up to the sunrise behind the Cathedral Dome I felt God asking me to surrender and let go of my self-condemnation and accept His forgiving grace.
In my morning prayers, I wept as I felt a born again experience of God’s love that is relentless and unshakable, reaching out to sinners like me who felt like we don’t belong to church.
But on this mountain of Ragusa, I finally surrendered that God loves me unconditionally as I am and not as I should be, because nobody is as they should be. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!"
