Learn more about Ringwood

Ringwood is well-known for its gardens while top attractions include New Forest National Park. This welcoming city has something for everyone including restaurants as well as sights like Moors Valley Country Park and Go Ape at Moors Valley Ringwood. All are within a small-town setting.

Mill Lawn Brook. In the New Forest a 'lawn' is any open area of short grass, just like your lawn at home. In this case the grass is kept that way by the ponies and cattle that are allowed to graze throughout the area. This is Mill Lawn, near Burley. The brook attracts lots of tourists in the summer and the lawn is often crowded. Come early though, and you have the place to yourself. Assistant photographer Kirsty, age 8.
