"the Wicked Walu seafood restaurant is a must do, food is excellent and location divine. if you don’t want an organised day out local express buses stop at the top of the entrance drive on the roadside and are great value. for adults there is an adult only pool and three happy hours a day on offer"

"The staff are extremely friendly and kind. Limited options for food but there is a shop on most nights. Its beach location is great for snorkelling and beach walks. It's a nice quiet place but old and could do with a revamp. It's good valve for money."

"I recently returned to Tambua Sands Resort earlier this month, my second visit, the first being 20 years ago and it was just as magical as I remembered. The resort is small and intimate, with just 21 bures, giving it a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. I stayed in an ocean view bure, which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. As a solo female traveller, I felt 100% safe at all times, both in the resort and exploring the surrounding area. The resort has a genuine “real Fiji” feel, with all local staff who make you feel like part of the family from the moment you arrive. Every team member introduces themselves and remembers your name, you’re never just a guest or a number here. The food at the resort was very good, and for something special, I highly recommend taking a taxi to the Crab Shack for dinner, it’s very reasonably priced with amazing food and a great atmosphere. What really makes Tambua Sands stand out is the people. I couldn’t possibly single out one staff member, from the front-of-house team, kitchen and bar staff, gardeners, activities and tour guides, to the security team and the amazing cleaning staff. Every single person worked together to create a truly welcoming and memorable stay. If you’re looking for a small, authentic, and warm Fijian experience, Tambua Sands is the perfect choice. I will definitely return again. "

"Great location on the beach with beautiful gardens and infinity pool. Nice size resort for couples. Front bungalows can get a bit noisy but very comfortable. Service was amazing with a few activities every day. Making contact prior to the stay was problematic however it was all fine once we arrived. There were some shops / restaurants nearby which was handy. The restaurant on site was ideal though. "

"Great pool to lounge around & relax - just need alot more sun loungers as they were always full, would have been great to have more options for pool side massages (cheaper too) Slow service for table ordering,had to ask for water a few times before actually getting it. Staff always friendly though,just Fiji time"

"I was immediately welcomed into the Nanuku Resort and felt like part of the family. The staff cannot do enough to make sure you enjoy your stay. Phenomenally beautiful rooms, wonderful food, views and so many activities to choose from.bathe guides are so awesome and will make sure you stay safe. I highly recommend this resort for anyone- families, couples or solo travelers like myself."

"Amazing value. The pool is huge! The unit was also large. Easily accommodated 12 for dinner (we travelled with extended family and had 3 units but got together for some meals) and bedrooms were very spacious. Everything was really clean. Lots of food options close too - we enjoyed the West Grill, Diner, Chinese, coffee shop and waffle place (who made my daughter's birthday very special), and used the supermarket and vege stall too. Stay away from the indian place down the road opposite the pier. We walked to the beach across the road and down the stream and then along the beach to snorkel off the pier. The Pink Spa was also great - between the group we had braids, manicures, pedicures, massages - all great value."

"We stayed here for 3 nights, from the time we check in easy communication with Hannah she also ensure us if we need anything just let her know she will try accomodate our needs. We booked queen double bed for 2 adults 1 child (5yr old) we love our room so cosy. We were lucky to have the whole villa to ourselves for 3 days. Our little one enjoyed the swimming pool and running around with no worries and the owner so lovely we had a full on conversation about life and future opportunities in Fiji. Two things we want to add is one maybe a small gas stove for the guest to use incase of a power cut. No: 2 a pump cleaner to keep swimming pool clean from dirt, Otherwise we had a peaceful stay at Pacific Paradise Villa and will definitely stop by if we are ever in the area again. "
