"We stay for 4 nights 5 days all the facilities are open for us to use.
We were very happy except the food at some of the restaurants needs to improve is also very pricey,we were lucky to know that there is a small shopping center very close and has very nice restaurants."

Step back in time while wandering the cobblestone streets of Santa Marta's Historic Center. The towering white Cathedral Basilica stands proud among colonial buildings with colorful balconies draped in bougainvillea. History buffs can explore the Gold Museum's pre-Columbian treasures or soak up the atmosphere in palm-shaded Plaza de Bolívar. Caribbean beaches beckon just a short stroll away.
Traditional seafood restaurants and family-run cafés serve coconut rice and tropical fruits throughout the historic district. Boutique hotels in restored colonial mansions offer intimate courtyards and period details for a truly authentic stay. The compact neighborhood is best explored on foot, with taxis readily available for trips to nearby Tayrona National Park.
El Rodadero's golden crescent beach buzzes with colorful umbrellas and lively vendors selling everything from fresh coconut water to handmade crafts. Beach lovers can soak up the Caribbean sun or dive into water sports like jet skiing and parasailing. The iconic Mundo Marino aquarium showcases local marine life, while a scenic cable car whisks you up nearby hills for breathtaking views.
Beachfront restaurants serve up fresh seafood and Caribbean specialties with ocean views. High-rise hotels and vacation rentals dominate the skyline, most featuring pools and direct beach access. Getting around is a breeze with the compact, walkable beachfront area and easy taxi service to Santa Marta just 15 minutes away.
Los Cocos dazzles with pristine Caribbean beaches and swanky beachfront living in Santa Marta. Travelers can stroll the palm-lined coastal promenade at sunset or dive into turquoise waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Between ocean dips, you'll find upscale restaurants serving fresh seafood on ocean-view terraces and exclusive beach clubs offering premium water sports.
Luxury condominiums and boutique hotels dominate the accommodation scene, complete with private balconies and concierge service. Getting around is easiest by taxi since public transit is limited, but the beachfront area itself is wonderfully walkable. For nearby adventures, Santa Marta Bay and Parque de los Novios are just a short ride away.
Bavaria
Bavaria offers an authentic slice of upscale Colombian suburban life, away from Santa Marta's tourist crowds. Wide tree-lined streets with modern homes and manicured gardens create a peaceful retreat for travelers seeking local rhythms. The neighborhood hums with family routines and community gatherings rather than tourist attractions.
Scattered local eateries serve traditional Colombian cooking, though dining options close early. Most accommodations are upscale vacation rentals with private pools and gardens. While public transit is limited, taxis make the 15-20 minute trip to Santa Marta's beaches and attractions easy.
Whether you want to collect beach glass or watch the sunset, Rodadero Beach is a spot you might want to check out when visiting central Puerto de Gaira. Enjoy the sunset by the shore at Blanca Beach, Santa Marta Beach, and Bello Horizonte Beach.
If you like quiet time surrounded by flowers and greenery, hang out at Parque de los Novios in Historic Center. Why not take a stroll along the beaches and watch the sunset while you're here? Want to stretch your legs some more? Head to Simón Bolivar Park and Camellón Rodrigo de Bastidas Park, both a short walk away.
Take the kids to visit the sea creatures at Rodadero Sea Aquarium and Museum during your trip to Santa Marta. While you're in the area, stroll along the beautiful beaches.
Commune with nature and explore the great outdoors at Blue Well during your travels in Minca. While you're in the area, stroll along the beautiful beaches.
Bask on golden beaches where the Sierra Nevada mountains dramatically plunge into the Caribbean Sea. Explore the lush rainforests of Tayrona National Park, spotting monkeys and toucans in the canopy.
I recommend visiting El Rodadero for a couple of nights and experience this beach town. Restaurants, entertainment, shopping but, two nights is enough there. Be sure to to do BK restaurant for great food and a beautiful sunset.

Don't venture alone past the Cathedral and ask your hotels for recommendations. Take Uber if you need to go further, it's fast, efficient and safe.

Excelente lugar para disfrutar de la playa, descansar y pasar unas excelentes vacaciones
"We stayed one night and enjoyed the large, minimalist room — spotless and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. The double bed was very comfortable, though given the size of the room, having queen beds in all rooms might be a nice improvement.
The Wi-Fi was superfast and reliable throughout our stay, which was great for getting some work done. The air conditioning kept the room cool in the tropical heat. The shower pressure was good, and the water temperature was warm, but didn't need to be hot given the warm outside weather.
Check-in was easy and welcoming, with very friendly and personable staff who made us feel comfortable right away. We appreciated using the common area to work both before check-in and after checkout, which was very convenient as we waited for our airport transfer.
The property felt very safe, with 24-hour staff presence. It was also nice to see a dog on the property, which added a friendly, pet-friendly atmosphere.
Breakfast was simple and basic, but still appreciated. We didn't use the pool or spa, but the pool area looked inviting and well-maintained.
The location was excellent — just a short, walkable distance to the beach front and local cafes. The airport bus stop is only about 50 metres away and offers a very affordable transfer option to the airport (COP 2,700 per person), much cheaper than a taxi."
"El hotel tiene un ambiente muy tranquilo, ideal para familias. Cuentan con personas de seguridad en la playa que te hacen sentir más seguro. La comida que ofrece el hotel es de muy buena calidad. Una excelente experiencia si quieres ir a descansar."
