" We had a wonderful time at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica. Everyone from golf cart driver to cleaning services greeted us with a smile and kindness. The pools were clean and had activities. The gym was functional and spa was relaxing. Additionally, all staff were attentive and knowledgable. Yeraly was great and Steven helped immensely with restaurant reservations. The guest services were great at accommodating any request. Overall, beautiful scenery and an amazing stay."

"We had minor issues with AC being always on, and the thermostats not kicking in. There was also a clog in the AC unit and cause leaking from the ceiling. The road to the resort needs work. There is a 10 minute stretch that’s really nerve wracking if you are coming in for the first time when it’s dark, and you worry about the damage to the vehicle. Other than that, it’s a great place and does deserve all the 5-stars. "

"Loved the food options. 2 different pools, one with a lot of activities and one more quiet. The staff was outstanding. Big shout out to Gina, our server in the Cafe and Alba our hostess. Drivers Heiner and Nelson made our transportation around the resort personable and enjoyable. We were treated as friends rather than guests. The head concierge Josue was attentive to our every need and the ultimate professional. "

"The property was a pleasant place with easy access to food and restaurants in the vicinity. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the internet connection was excellent, considering my cell phone’s 5G features were limited. I would appreciate it if the bars and restaurants could stay open past 8 pm, as everything closes early, especially being in a remote area. The front desk staff were amazing (shout out to Arturo and Aurelio)! They helped make our trip fabulous by helping us arrange dinner reservations and also helping us plan our fun activities and excursions. The onsite/in town restaurants provided many options and the food was very fresh and delicious. Staff at the restaurants were friendly, helpful and attentive. We loved the breakfast, great ceviche, tasty coconut shrimp and excellent coffee cheesecake. My Hubby loved the ice cream stand with fresh waffle cones. Check out the Patagonia store for yummy coffee drinks and empanadas to go. The onsite infinity pool was super chill and relaxing and provided us a great space to chat, meet folks, relax and enjoy great views of the ocean. The ocean/beach in front of the property was clean, semi private and easy to navigate as there were no rocks or obstructions in the sand. Great space for adults and kids. There’s a great hike next to the hotel. I would recommend sneakers or hikers because it’s rocky and there are changes in elevations. Lastly, bring mosquito repellant because those buggers are fierce. "

"I loved this property and would definitely stay again if I visit this part of Costa Rica. The buffet menu changed every day so you could try different dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner. The restaurant had a set menu but the options were delicious. The staff were friendly, the facilities were clean, there’s A LOT of wildlife. In terms of entertainment on property (I stayed during the off season) there’s two pools that play music, a gym, a game room/volleyball net, and a pool table in the lobby. I would recommend booking an excursion for at least one of the days you’re there which can be done by AMSTAR who’s on the property or on the beach with another company. "
