"Breakfast was generous. Really good family run hotel across the river from Cochem. It has great views of the castle. Parking tags are provided to park for free by the river. The hotel does not have parking at the facility but this was not a problem for us. "

"Only stayed one night when visiting the area with a family member. We had a friendly greeting and our host spoke English. It’s a pet friendly hotel as we had a small dog with us. The mattress and quality of the bedding were superb as was the Prija soap in the loo. Breakfast available for €18 but there is a bakery nearby (closed Wednesdays) for a cheaper option. Quiet area in a quaint village. Wifi did not work in the rooms only lobby area. "

"Room was exceptionally spacious with sofa and balcony. Swimming pool was quiet, relaxing and water temperature and was just right. Daily cleaning was excellent. Cleaner very helpful. The stand out was the restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful and comprehensive. We dined each evening of our seven night stay. The range of food on the menu was impressive and the quality first class. Obviously a very accomplished chef. Restaurant staff could not have been more helpful and cheerful. They showed it was a happy place to work. And I was not disappointed, I had no idea on the area or what to see or do. But once I got here the idea is to do nothing.
Yes you can bike around or go on wine tasting but you can also sit and do nothing. That is what this place and hotel gives you. Peace and serenity.
The staff are absolutely amazing and I need an extra night and they did their best to fit me in. I was so grateful. I did not taste the wine as I don’t drink but I saw many other visitors enjoying it.
