"It had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. It was close to many restaurants--including a favorite, that being Cracker Barrel.
The staff was courteous, very professional.
Too, the complimentary breakfast was quite good."

I love the city of Oxford. Its a great place to visit, and possibly live. A not so small college town that is easy to navigate with a wide selection of local and chain restaurants. It is sad that the local mall. Albeit small, had mostly closed.

Oxford is a beautiful town. The Oliver is right at the edge of the town square. The square is very quaint and lovely with lots of restaurants and shops. It's also very close to the Ole Miss campus which is beautiful as well.

There are plenty of options for different routes and I never ran into traffic. I didn't get out and about in town much, but from where I traveled, it seemed safe and the area was very clean. Brush up on Roundabout Etiquette, if you're unfamiliar.

Oxford is a nice place, just a little limited in term of shopping & dining options.
"I was at first dismayed to see that there was extensive renovating going on at the hotel, because I feared loud construction noise. But I was pleasantly surprised. We got one of the brand new rooms that had just been remodeled and it was very clean and nice. And with the help of the option of a constant AC fan, I had the quietest night I have ever spent in a hotel in my life. Comfy bed too!"
